Your shopper sees your furniture
in their own room.

RoomVelo adds a “See it in your room” button to your product pages. The shopper uploads a photo of their room, marks the spot and sees your furniture in their home, at its real dimensions. No developers and no redesign on your side: the product photos and dimensions already on your site are all we need.

01 / Why it matters

Furniture is the hardest thing to buy blind.

A shopper can read “90 × 60 × 46 cm” and still have no idea whether it fits next to their armchair.

19–23%
of online furniture orders come back — three points above the all-category online average.

Measured, not promised

Not “about right” — the real size.

We compare the drawn piece with its catalogue dimensions at that exact spot. The median error is about 3%.

Paste the tag

One script in your theme header. It auto-detects product pages and reads the SKU, price and dimensions already in your markup.

02

We match your styling

Send us your shop URL. We tune the button and modal to your fonts, colours and radius so it reads as your own UI, not a foreign embed.

03

Go live on one category

Start with sofas, or just ten SKUs. Watch the numbers, then widen it. Turning it off is deleting one line.

04 / What your shopper does

Three taps, no app.

It runs in the browser they're already in. No download, no account, no leaving your product page.

Step one

One photo

They snap the room on their phone, or drop in a photo they already have. A QR hand-off moves them from desktop to phone camera without losing the cart.

Step two

Mark the spot

A drag or a tap on the floor tells us where the piece goes — and roughly how much room there is for it.

Step three

See it, honestly

Their room comes back with your product in place — plus a plain warning when the fit is tight. Confidence, not flattery: an honest “too big” prevents a return.

05 / Roadmap

Shipping in order.

One product is live today. The next two are dated because dates keep us honest — and because you deserve to know what you're buying into.

3D room visualisation

The photo becomes a walkable 3D room. Shoppers rearrange the whole space, swap pieces, and buy the combination — not one item at a time.

True-to-scale placement through the phone camera, in the browser. They walk around it before they buy it. No app install.

06 / Custom builds

Got a different idea? We build it.

Shopper-facing features

Room planners, fabric and finish configurators, “does it fit through my door” checkers, visual search across your catalogue.

Internal tools

Delivery-slot planners, catalogue and photo pipelines, PIM clean-up.

Integrations

Wiring your shop to your ERP, supplier feeds, stock systems and the other tools you work in daily — so data moves on its own instead of being retyped.

Or just bring the problem

If you know the pain but not the solution, that's a good first call.

We read every message and reply within one business day.
07 / Straight answers

The things retailers actually ask.

Will it slow my site down?

No. The script loads asynchronously and renders nothing until the shopper clicks the button. The heavy work — generating the image — happens on our servers, not in their browser. It never blocks your page or touches your Core Web Vitals.
+

Do you need 3D models of my products?

You certainly don't need to commission any. If you already have 3D models, we use yours. If you don't, we build them from the photography and dimensions already on your product page. Importantly, we only prepare models for the SKUs you switch on — not your whole catalogue. That is why we suggest starting with one category: faster and cheaper for both sides.
+

How is this different from the shopper pasting a photo into ChatGPT?

ChatGPT draws a piece that looks like yours. We place your actual product — the same model and colour, at its catalogue dimensions — and say plainly whether it fits. It also happens on your product page with the cart intact: one tap from the render to “add to cart”, not another window. Generic image generators tend to shrink or restyle furniture — nice to look at, useless for deciding.
+

Who owns the shopper's photo? What about GDPR?

The shopper does. The photo is used only to produce that one render and deleted shortly after — never used to train anything, never sold. Producing the render means the photo reaches the AI providers we use; some process outside the EEA, so those transfers rely on standard contractual clauses. Every processor is named in our privacy policy. We sign a standard DPA and act as your processor. Nothing is stored on your side at all.
+

What if the render looks wrong or fake?

Sometimes it will, and we say so in the interface rather than hiding it. Every result carries a plain “dimensions are approximate — check before buying” note, and an amber warning when the piece is too big for the space the shopper marked. An honest “this won't fit” prevents a return; a flattering render causes one.
+

How much does it cost?

We're setting pricing with our first partners rather than inventing a number to put on a page. Tell us your catalogue size and traffic on the call and you'll get a straight answer in that conversation — including if the honest answer is “not worth it at your volume yet”.
+

Does it work on mobile?

Mobile is the primary case — that's where the camera is. On desktop we show a QR code so the shopper photographs the room with their phone and lands back on the same page, cart intact.
+

Can I white-label it?

Yes. We match your fonts, colours and radius so the button and modal read as your own UI. Our name appears once, as a small “Powered by RoomVelo” line in the modal footer, and it can be removed entirely on request.
+
Taking on first partners

Test it on ten SKUs.

One category, real numbers from your own traffic. If it doesn't move anything, you delete one line of code and we part as friends.
